You know how I love finding sustainable, handmade products that actually work for busy family life — especially ones that are gentle enough for my boys and me, but still feel a little luxurious.

Well, I recently discovered The Guilty Goat, a small California brand that makes handcrafted soaps, lotions, and shampoo bars with minimal ingredients and milk from the beloved goats on their farm. I’m officially hooked. While they’re known for bold blends, I found a few products that are perfect for anyone who wants simple, natural care with a little personality.

🧼 Oatmeal & Honey Soap: Comfort in a Bar

If you’re like me and your skin needs extra love (especially after outdoor adventures or long days in the garden), this one’s for you.
The Oatmeal & Honey Soap is everything I want in a daily cleanser, creamy, soothing, and gentle enough for everyone in the house.
It lathers beautifully, smells faintly sweet in that real honey kind of way, and leaves skin soft, not tight. This is one of those “quiet” products that doesn’t need to show off, it just does its job really, really well.

💧 Eucalyptus and Spearmint Lotion: Fresh, Cooling, and Calm

This lotion surprised me. The scent is clean, refreshing, and spa-like, without being overpowering.
It’s made with natural oils and goat milk, so it sinks in quickly with no sticky residue and gives that soft, hydrated feel that lasts all day. After a long day chasing my boys (and cleaning up after them), this lotion feels like a little self-care moment in a bottle. I typically only buy unscented but the eucalyptus and spearmint give me a little energy boost as well!

🫧 Unscented Shampoo Bar: Gentle and Zero-Waste

As someone who’s trying to cut down on plastic and chemicals, I love finding shampoo bars that actually deliver.
The unscented bar from The Guilty Goat is a dream for sensitive scalps and fragrance-free routines.
It gives a nice clean wash, no buildup, and doesn’t dry my hair out, just clean, light, and healthy. Plus, no plastic bottles which is a huge win in my book. It's a solid bar that lasts longer than you’d expect and looks gorgeous sitting in your shower.

My crunchy mama tip is to use a little bit of baking soda once a week with your shampoo bar to get that clarifying effect you might get from more conventional shampoos.

💚 Why I’ll Keep Coming Back

I love that The Guilty Goat makes sustainability fun. Their packaging is minimal, their products are cruelty-free, and their ingredients are thoughtfully chosen.

Each product feels handmade, because it is, but still fits easily into an everyday routine. They prove that “clean” can be both eco-friendly and exciting.
