If you're looking to keep your kids off screens and playing outside this is the post for you! My rule is that my kids can be inside for quiet time during the peak sun hours to practice sun safety but otherwise we are outside most of the time. If my boys don't get outside they are like the energizer bunny and will be up way past bedtime.
These are some of the outdoor toys we've loved over here! This post contains affiliate links, meaning I may earn a small commission if you purchase through the link at no cost to you.
Rock Climbing Holds, we have these around a tree and the boys love it! I liked that these came with more holds and you can also make a rock climbing wall if you don't have a tree that works.
Ninja Twister Swing, the boys are always running up and hanging on here, they use it more than I thought and it's adjustable for different heights.
My boys have competitions to see who can hang the longest. Even my one year old hangs from it with us ready to catch him!
An oldie but a goodie, this Rope Swing is a big hit that I had to buy after I could never get my child off the rope at gymnastics class.
My kids have been able to swing on it alone starting at 2 and can really start climbing up it around 6. It's sturdy, I go on and my husband will even bring the baby on it!
Reusable Water Balloons, these have been hours of fun and no filling water balloons or picking up a million pieces which is huge for me and the environment. We've had them a few years and only had a few holes from kids squeezing them too hard so they spray which we don't let them do anymore.
I definitely recommend this brand, they are magnetic and my sister-in-law brought a different brand that was not and they were hard to fill and not nearly as fun for the kids.
For my little guy we use a tall water table as well. He is one and so close to walking. He thinks he is pretty cool any time he can stand and play with toys like his brothers! This one has tons of features and extras that keeps kids of all ages busy for hours.
Between the climbing toys and water play we have at our house I am actually able to sit and relax for about 5 minutes between my three kids lol. It's a season in my life, it's busy and we love it. I hope you found a new option to keep your little ones screen limited this summer!
